For students
The European Unionʼs funding program Erasmus+ makes it possible for students to study in another European country and become familiar with a different academic culture and a new city. The Erasmus Office provides advice and support to international visiting students, answering their questions and helping them through the organizational steps required for study abroad at Universität Hamburg. It also serves students in the Faculty of Humanities who will be studying abroad at one of our European partner universities.
We recommend that all students in our Faculty plan to study abroad for one or two semesters at one of our numerous Erasmus partner universities. Thanks to an exemption from tuition fees, a monthly stipend, and recognition of completed coursework in accordance with the Learning Agreement, the funding program Erasmus+ supports study abroad at our partner universities in Europe.
