Synchronization and collaboration in the UHHCloud

As a member of Universität Hamburg, UHHCloud offers you a number of benefits that make your everyday life much easier. The tool enables you to store your data sustainably and in compliance with data protection regulations on the UHH servers. You simply log in with your UHH user ID (Benutzerkennung der UHH / B-Kennung) and can access the UHHCloud both via your web browser and using the Nextcloud client. The client keeps all your files up to date, even on different devices, so you don't have to worry about synchronization.
The integrated OnlyOffice environment also enables seamless collaboration in real time. You can work on documents together with other members of the university, while all changes are immediately visible to the entire team. You can also give people from outside the university access to files and directories.
After the pilot operation of the UHHCloud, it has recently gone into permanent operation (in German) so that you can plan for the long term with this tool. In contrast to the OpenOlat and AGORA/CommSy learning platforms, the UHHCloud is therefore ideal for backing up your (cross-semester) documents in the long term and continuing to use them in the course context.
