About us
We are the DL-Office-Team at the Faculty of Humanities. We are here to advise and support teaching at our faculty with digital tools and methods. As a service provider, we are helping to shape the UHH's ‘Twin Transformation’ strategy. To this end, we work closely with partners at the faculty and the UHH to further optimise our digital services for our teaching staff:
- Integration into the faculty under the roof of the Digital Office Humanities, which brings together our team, the DH Lab, IT Humanities, and the Media Centre
- Integration into the DL network of the University of Hamburg

In the forTEXT project, a collaborative research environment for humanities scholars is being developed. The focus here is on the two most important activities of hermeneutic text indexing: text annotation and text analysis. forTEXT - which is initially being developed on the basis of the needs of literary scholars - aims to open up direct, low-threshold and functional access to digital methods above all for humanities scholars working in a more traditional way.
