Interaction in the seminar: set live writing on slides in PowerPoint

With a few simple clicks, you can make immediate annotations and changes to your presentation when using the projector or a CTOUCH display in your classroom teaching without having to leave presentation mode.
To activate this function on Windows, you must observe the following steps:
- When using two screens, set the display to “Advanced” in the settings.
- Open your PowerPoint and drag it to the second screen, then set the presentation mode.
- The speaker view usually opens on your own computer. You can hide this and then open the normal PowerPoint editing view directly. You can now simply write in the editing mode and the new content will also be displayed in the slide show on the Beamer or CTOUCH display.
To activate this function on macOS, you must follow these steps:
- Use two screens in the “Advanced View” screen view.
- Next, you can click on “Set up slide show” in the “Slide show” tab in PowerPoint and select the type of presentation as “View by an individual (window)”.
- Then start the slide show via the speaker view.
- Switch from the speaker view window to the editing window. A total of three PowerPoint windows will then be open: Presentation mode, speaker view and editing. If changes are now made in edit mode, they can be seen live in the slide show without having to switch windows on the beamer or CTOUCH display.
