„ReAction – Building Belonging“: Open kick-off event on April 23, 2026

How does a sense of belonging develop at the university—and how can we shape it together? With our kick-off event, “ReAction – Building Belonging,” on April 23, we invite all students, faculty, and interested members of the community to the Audimax to explore, discuss, and experience the topic of academic belonging together.

The event marks the official launch of the externally funded teaching development project ReAction (Relationships and Academic Belonging in Higher Education), which aims to strengthen relationships and a sense of belonging as key prerequisites for trust, engagement, and successful learning processes in teaching and learning. In addition to an official opening at 2:00 p.m. (in Lecture Hall II of the Audimax) featuring a keynote address and welcoming remarks, there will be a variety of hands-on activities, booths, and creative formats centered on the theme of “Academic Belonging” in the foyer of the Audimax starting at 3:15 p.m.
