Bachelor's degree programs from A to Z
Our Bachelor's degree courses generally consist of a major academic subject, a freely selectable minor subject and the optional area, which allows students to set their own focus and develop their individual profile. In addition, the Studium Generale gives students the opportunity to take courses from the entire range of subjects offered by various faculties.
The standard period of study for most of our degree courses is six semesters. If you choose a language-intensive major or minor subject, the standard period of study is extended by one semester; for our international Bachelor's degree programs with an integrated semester abroad, the standard period of study is generally eight semesters. Please note that the major subject Protestant Theology can be studied with the degrees Diplom, Magister or ecclesiastical examination.
With a few exceptions, almost all major and minor study programs at our faculty can also be completed on a part-time basis.
