Services and funding opportunities
The Humanities Doctoral Program provides a structured curriculum of doctoral colloquia and interdisciplinary research colloquia in which doctoral researchers can present their research projects, discuss their progress, and expand their knowledge of methods and theory. In direct discipline-specific or interdisciplinary exchanges with other doctoral researchers and academics from different research areas, students can clarify many issues which are often difficult to resolve in isolation. A structured doctoral degree program also facilitates time management and sets binding supervisory standards.
As structured doctoral programs are increasingly part of international higher education standards, the Humanities Doctoral Program is valuable for professional careers both in Germany and abroad.
